Accommodation

Tharua accommodation includes 4 en suite bedrooms which sleep 6 people. Each has a separate w.c, with a full laundry service provided by our wonderful house staff so there's no need to bring masses of clothes with you, save the room in your cases for African artefacts to take home!

Whilst at Tharua all meals are taken in the roundhouse. This is a beautiful open sided traditionally built thatched room, purpose built for our guests to enjoy the beauty of our garden and the spectacular views. Whilst camping food is cooked over an open fire and eaten under the stars.

Water for our guests is now provided from a bore hole, which ensures a constant supply of clean, fresh water.

By day there is no electricity at the ranch, but in our effort to become green and make your stay more relaxing we have invested heavily in solar energy. We store the electricity in batteries by day and turn the power on at dusk, giving guests the chance to charge all their mod cons. When out on the Horse safari or the 4x4 safari batteries can be charged from 12v in the landrover.

When camping, tents are large enough for two camp beds, comfy mattresses and sleeping bags. A short drop loo is not too far away, with a washstand for the mornings. Its a truly memorable experience.
