WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE ?
Full board accommodation, horse and tack or a 4x4 (with driver!) if your a non rider. Reasonable quantities of local beers, wines and soft drinks. All national park, game park entry fees, all wilderness concession fees. Full compliment of safari crew (cooks, driver, groom, guide, guards) safari equipment, support vehicle, laundry service.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Hotel bar bills, visas, insurance and staff gratuities. Flights to and from Nairobi. You are responsible for booking your own flights and hotel accommodation either side of the safari in Nairobi (if required). You may find your airline offers accommodation at a better price. AGE LIMITS?
Due to the nature of observing game in their natural habitat, we feel it unsuitable for young children, therefore we only take children aged 14 or over.
HOW DO I BOOK?
You can either email us or phone for a chat on 01726 883398, if the lines are busy then please leave a message and we will get right back to you. Once we have checked availability for the dates you require we will hold a provisional booking for you for 14 days. Let us know the flight times you are about to book, if ok then go ahead and book your flights. Fill in and return the booking forms to us with your 25% deposit. We will send you a confirmation invoice with the balance due date 30 days prior to departure.
PASSPORT/VISAS/HEALTH
A full valid passport is required. A visa for entry can be obtained prior to your departure from the Kenya high commission, approx cost £30.00. Alternatively you can queue at Nairobi airport and buy one on arrival. Links to the Kenya High Commission can be found on our links page.
You should consult your doctor regarding vaccinations and anti malaria medication. Although there is no legal requirement to have any vaccinations, please take appropriate advice. Some sort of anti-diarrhea is advisable.
WHAT TO BRING - Colthes list
We recommended the following;
Soft holdall type bag (not hard Samsonite type bags/cases)
Jeans / riding trousers x 3
Long sleeved cotton shirts x 4
Shorts and T-shirts
Warm jersey / Fleece (its can get cool in the evening as we are at 2000m)
Lightweight jacket
Trainers / flip-flops
Chaps or half chaps - optional (Half chaps are good protection against thorns and not too hot)
Riding gloves
Sun hat / Baseball cap x 2
Waterproof mac / Poncho
Foot ware for riding - optional
Swimming Costume

We provide sheets, blankets, towels, soap, all camping equipment + a truly memorable experience.
While at Tharua, washing is done on request (all by hand!!)
