Dear Tiddy and Martin, hope this message finds you both well. I have never sent a message using a computer before but I just wanted to thank you both so very much for the most fantastic holiday ever. I have never felt so relaxed, well fed and looked after in my whole life! I am very envious of your lovely life and am glad that you are both so happy. Please also thank the two Janes for the good food etc., and give the dogs a kiss from me. Thank you once again and lots of love |

The superlatives have been exhausted, so we will not repeat them. Seen the beasties, enjoyed the hospitality, ridden the horse , eaten the food -------all wonderful! All those experiences with a backdrop of Kenyan sounds and the amazing butterflies made for an unforgetable trip. |

Mind blowing and so beyond our expectations, a trip and a half. Cant thank you enough for a truly memorable experience and I still cant believe I have been on a horse saying "wow", if I was on a crashing plane I might survive because when that elephant turned to face us the horse wasn't happy and was gone........ Such good hospitality, food and such a fantastic time. Nothing was contrived, it was so real, timeless and priceless, can never thank you enough - heres to the next time!!! |

Thank you for such an amazing holiday in Kenya. It was so much more than expected. The horses were amazing and so much fun to ride, and the variety of animas was lovely to see. Seeing Cheetah on the last day topped everything. Going to the school was an inspiration, they appreciate everything they have and work so hard for it. A massive thank you to you for making us feel so welcome and to all your staff that looked after us so well. This has been an unforgettable holiday and I hope to come back and visit the Mara one day. |

Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. Everything exceeded expectations, from the quality of the horses, the great hospitality both at the farm and while camping and too the variety of animals. Thank you for been so committed to finding Lion and Cheetah for us – it was defiantly worth waiting for. The highlight of the holiday had to bee meeting the Giraffe in Meru who thought she was a dog!! Please pass on my thanks to all your lovely staff who made the holiday so amazing. |

We did not think our 1st trip to Kenya could be beaten, but Tiddy and Martin certainly came up trumps. Thank you so much for all your hard work to ensure us of such a great time. The Mara experience was simply fantastic, we would not have missed the journey there either!! Thank you so much – please thank all the staff at Tharua too. We will be back one day to see the Cheetah and Leopard. |

Amazing 2 weeks – Tharua was as good as ever. Riding and Camping in Ol-Pejata was again memorable. The trip and camping at Bogoria with Flamingo’s and Baboon was out of this world. The Mara can not be described adequately, it has too be seen. Well done Martin and Tiddy, brilliant campsite by the river. The Lion’s and filming over 100 Hippo just blows your mind. Thank you so much. |

Our many thanks to Tiddy and Martin for giving us a unique holiday and a truly wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble and a worm and friendly 2 weeks was had by all. Thanks for choosing campsites with Lion, Hippo and Elephants so close by, not forgetting all the Flamingo at Lake Bogoria. Not knowing what was next made our adventure all the better. |

3rd time with Tharua and no disasters yet!! Another fab holiday in Kenya with Tharua Safaris. Meru is excellent, a pet Giraffe and Lion's roaring and prowling outside the tents! Lots of very fat Cheetahs and healthy looking wildlife. Lots of dive bombing in the pool which makes those lazy days perfect. We went to Tharua as total whist novices and left as champions. We are now in training to climb Mount Kenya. |

Thank you so much for a fantastic trip, even better than the 1st time we came. The riding safari was great, all the horses are so well behaved. Seeing 35 Lions in the Mara, wow, we can’t believe we saw that many, in fact we can’t believe the amount of everything we saw. The Lion hunting the Zebra just across the river from our camp was unbelievable, we will never forget that. Please say a big thank you to all your staff for looking after us and a big thank you to Tiddy and Martin for been such great hosts. |

This is our first time in Kenya and we wouldn’t have wanted it to be any different. With Tiddy and Martin as our hosts it couldn’t have been any better! The horse riding and game drives and the dogs will stay with us for a long time as wonderful memories about the great time we had, thank you for your wonderful hospitality we are looking forward already to the next time. |

Thank you for a wonderful experience, and for looking after me throughout the week. A little bit scary at times, when the elephant charged the jeep! Also going to the toilet at night while camping was a big no, no. The visit to the school was an amazing experience never to be forgotten! |

We were so sad to go home after such a fantastic holiday! Tharua has a wonderfully welcoming and relaxing set-up. The accommodation is amazing, great meals at the lodge and in the bush (thanks Thuri) and fantastic guides. Tiddy, your love of nature and horses is a delight to share with you. We are not sure what contributed to our enjoyment the most, the beautiful vistas from the house as the sun rises over distant Mount Kenya, the chirping of the birds every morning as we woke to another glorious day in Africa, the sight of a herd of elephant crossing our path just yards away as rode through Ol Pejata, the fireplace chats and delicious dinner with good company. We experienced some superb riding. I have never come across such lovely horses - obviously expertly trained and lovingly cared for ...a pleasure to ride. Tharua fulfilled our African dream here in this wilderness. If I could recommend any holiday it would be this one. |

What an experience you have shown us, indestructable spaniels, quirky horses, chilly vodka, chapatis +cream cheese, how to survive clinging to land rover roof, flying ants and mozzies in fleeces! In return we brought male pmt, dogging hoodies, and gobby bits, I have to say a big cheers for the best holiday ever, fabulous hosts, great fun and unforgetable wildlife, dont change a thing! |

we have just experienced the most magical holiday, treated like royalty but still made to feel like one of the family. We had the good fortune to see the big 5& and a giant forest Hog. The horse riding was enjoyed by all and game driving enhanced by Martins spectacular driving feats! we will never forget our best ever holiday and wish you all the best for the future. |

We went to Tharua on a riding safari and had the best time ever! So much so that we're spending Christmas with Martin & Tiddy! We're going to Uganda on a tailor made holiday and trekking to see the mountain gorillas on Boxing Day, how cool is that? Last trip was the funniest and most exciting adventure ever, including digging our way out of a river! Tharua was like a home from home, eating really good food and playing with dogs. We are so excited about this trip, if it's half as good as the last it will be completely brilliant. Tharua here we come! |
| Barbara Grace | We liked it so much we went twice to see Martin and Tiddy. The first time is magical, I saw my favourite animal, a giraffe on our first horseback safari! The staff are lovely, and the food is all homecooked and very tasty! The second time we went we did the usual two night camping trip, and the second week we went to the Masai Mara, which was wonderful. Martin and Tiddy are great company and do their up-most to show you all the animals! Of course it doesn't always work out, the first time we saw leopard briefly, but no cheetah. The second time we saw 6 cheetah, loads of lions, hippos, and flamingos, a wild dog (which is rare) but no leopard! |
